Announcements for Sunday, Sept. 17

WE’VE SAVED YOU A SEAT AT THE TABLE!

Our Fall sermon series looks at the meals Jesus had with people from all walks of life as recorded in Luke’s Gospel accounts. Join us each Sunday as we consider how our Savior shows us what it means to be hospitable in a hostile age.

SUNDAY MORNING PARKING & NEW FALL SCHEDULE

Sunday Morning Parking – In order to provide up-close parking for those who need it at the 10:30am service, we encourage those attending the 9:00am service who are physically able to park in the Swedish West Seattle Clinic parking structures on California Avenue. This will allow more street parking closer to the church for those with limited mobility.

HURRICANES HARVEY & IRMA GET WEST SIDE RESPONSE

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance http://pda.pcusa.org and World Vision https://www.worldvision.org are mobilizing the Christian church to respond to the urgent needs of those suffering from these two disasters. We recommend you consider them if you wish to financially contribute to the effort. If you would rather have West Side handle the transaction for you, please note on your envelop and check (payable to West Side) which organization you want the funds to go to and for which relief effort! West Side may send teams to help with recovery efforts in both locales. If you’re interested in serving, please share your name and contact info with the church office.

AUGUST FINANCIAL UPDATE

Your faithfulness in giving to our Lord is appreciated! Gifts for August still show an increase from June but less than the month of July, reducing unified giving to 78% of the Funding Guide. Please continue to prayerfully consider your personal contributions as we continue to support the work of Jesus Christ through our church and our missions.
Unified Giving   $664,497
Funding Guide  $850,355
Difference         ($185,858)
