LENTEN DEVOTIONALS

Stay close to the Lord through Scripture and prayer during this Lenten season. Lenten devotionals are available at the Information Center today. If you would like to go online to receive one each day by email, we suggest iLent.org.

ASH WEDNESDAY – Feb. 15 Services at 8am and Noon

West Side is providing two Ash Wednesday services, the first at 8am and another at 12:00 noon. These 30 minute services offer contemplative space for prayer, repentance, and The Imposition of Ashes. All are welcome. Nursery care will be available at the noon service.

GARAGE SALE UPDATE

MORE DONATIONS ARE NEEDED!
We’re ready to handle your treasures….we just need more! Curbside drop-offs happen 4-6pm today and February 18 and 25. Drop off anytime Tuesday and Wednesday, 9:00am-8:00pm. Contact Karol now with information about larger items (furniture, etc.). If approved, those items can be brought in beginning March 1.

STRONG BODIES NEEDED!
Sunday, March 4: Move and haul furniture, handle boxes and set-up tables from 2-6pm.
Saturday, March 10: Tear down and clean-up from 2–5pm.

District 9, 13 & 14 Luncheon Today (Feb. 11) – Enjoy food and fellowship with others in Howell Auditorium after worship.

WEST SIDE CIRCLES

OFFICE MOMS & DADS

SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE

Rice and Morey Scholarships Available – Scholarship applications are available in the church office and must be completed and postmarked by April 3 or brought to the office by 4pm Wednesday, April 4.

Virginia and Barrie Rice Memorial Scholarship goes to an active member of West Side or young person active in the youth program who plans to attend an evangelical four-year college, graduate school, or a theological seminary as a full-time student.

Harvey Morey Memorial Bible School Scholarship goes to an active member of West Side, regardless of age, a young person active in the youth program, a currently funded missionary or child of a missionary who wishes to attend a Bible school or pursue a Bible curriculum at an approved college.

Godspeed: The Pace of Being Known – What if the future of the church depends on our ability to slow down and get to know people? Godspeed looks at what happens when a Seattle city boy learns about “God’s speed” in a Scotland parish. Class location: Howell Auditorium

WOMEN’S WEDNESDAY EVENING CLASS – 6:30pm

Redeemed: a Tool for Sharing Your Story of Redemption (a study designed specifically for women) – Do you desire God use you to communicate His love to others? Sharing your story of God’s redemption is a powerful way to do it. Last class is this week February 14. Class location: Lewis Hall
