Get a flavor of how West Side is contributing to the community around us! Using Romans Chapter 15 and 16 as a guide, three speakers will share experiences and insights about the following outreach programs/initiatives:

We are celebrating the historic birth of the church and its work in the world by highlighting our outreach ministries to West Seattle and beyond. Join us for a fellowship/missions lunch in Howell Auditorium after worship service and visit with many of our ministry representatives.
Being Presbyterian 101
6 Classes and Opportunity to Join West Side – There is still time to attend! Pastor Shari and church leaders are looking forward to meeting with all who are interested in learning about what it means to follow Christ as a member of the Presbyterian church. The New Members Call to Discipleship workbook aids our conversation. Summer Youth Interns
We are excited to welcome three Summer Youth Interns (SYI) to work with our youth through July. Riley Montemayor, attending South Seattle Community College, has been helping throughout the school year and will continue through this summer; Lauren Estep, completing her sophomore year at Seattle Pacific University, will join us for her second summer; and Devon Porter, a senior graduating West Seattle High School, is beginning her first time in the position.

Today – The Book of Romans – Paul’s letter to Roman Christians offers us some of the best theology in the Bible coupled with practical application of the Gospel to our hearts, relationships, social involvement and work. He covers things – grace, sin, spiritual gifts, suffering and contentment – that resonate with everyone, but especially those who want to grow in faith. Class location: Howell Auditorium

“Come and See” Conference
Through study, vibrant worship and preaching, the July 23–27, 2018 conference at Whitworth University looks at how Jesus’ invitation to His disciples to “come and see” continues to change the world.
