Candidate Sunday October 14

Next Sunday our Senior Pastor candidate will preach. A congregational meeting will immediately follow the service to approve the candidate. More details shared at the end of the service on Sunday, October 7.

Pastor Keith will resume the series “God is Green,” teaching a biblical perspective on the environment and a call to Christian stewardship of the natural world, on October 21. An additional resource you might want to check out is

Today @ West Side

10:00am – Worship Service and Communion

11:15am – Fellowship Meal – We invite everyone to continue our celebration of the Lord’s Table with a meal together in Howell Auditorium immediately following the worship service. A Children’s Corner play area is available.

7:00pm – West Side Library Book Club meets in the library. All who love to read and discuss books are welcome.

Missions Fest Seattle

Missions Fest Seattle is Friday and Saturday, October 19–20 at Crossroads Bible Church in Bellevue. Featured speakers are Kenneth Bae, the missionary who spent 2 years in a North Korean prison, and Andrew Scott, whose book Scattered exhorts sharing the love of God in the bleakest places in the world. Ron Rice arranged the music for the conference! More info at

Matsiko World Orphan Choir

This delightful choir will sing at both of West Side’s worship services (10am and 5pm) on Sunday, October 21. The children, sponsored by the International Children’s Network (ICN), come from Liberia, Nepal, Peru and India. West Side will host the children between both services.

Mental Health First Aid Training Class!

Prayers Requested for Senior Pastor Candidate

• Pray for God’s wisdom and guidance for the Senior Pastor candidate and family as they prepare to meet the congregation on Friday, October 12 and preach Sunday, October 14.
