Announcements for Sunday, Dec. 23

Schedule Volunteers for Community Meal Ministry

We need someone who would like to schedule volunteers and send out emails about what happened at the community meal and what prayer requests we received. Contact Susie Williams susiew@wspc.org to learn more.

Changed Your Phone Number, Email or Address?

Please let the office know by Thursday, December 28 as we are updating our records and will publish a new church directory the first week in January. Not sure what we have for you? Give us a call!

Year End Giving

Your gifts to support WSPC’s many amazing programs and ministries make a huge impact as we live out our mission to share hope in Jesus Christ. There are lots of ways to give – your regular giving envelopes mailed or dropped off, checks or cash, or using the “Christmas Giving” envelope in your tithe box. Note on the “Christmas Giving” envelopes: Those received as part of the Christmas Eve collection will be applied to specially approved Missions projects. Otherwise, the amount in the envelope will be used for our general funding guide. Gifts must be received or postmarked by December 31, 2018 to qualify for tax deduction.

IRA Charitable Giving to WSPC

If you are 70½ or older, you have the opportunity to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA or Roth IRA to support ministry at WSPC. Distributions should be made directly to WSPC and will allow you to support ministry while also minimizing your taxes (regardless if you itemize or not) if received by December 31, 2018.

Christmas Eve Offering For Missions

The offering collected on Christmas Eve will fund these mission projects:
1. Arabic Bibles and evangelistic materials for outreach ministry to refugees in Munich, Germany (Andrew Prout) – $1300
2. Co-pay medical costs for Debbie Wood – $2200
3. Dental work for Kaelynn, daughter of Marcus and Carla Snedeker – $1300

8. Support for Somali couple, former Muslims, in Addis Abiba to assist with Internet ministry to Somalis (Michael Madany) – $1800
Projects will be funded fully in this priority, as the total offerings allow.

2019 Tithe Envelopes

2019 tithe envelopes will be available next week. If you have not used envelopes and would like to, please note it on the back of your attendance card or notify the office and we will have them available for you next week. Please discard any leftover 2018 envelopes as the numbers change each year.
