Congregational Meeting January 27, 11:30am

Session has called the meeting to elect members of the Church Nominating Committee, the group responsible for identifying candidates to serve as Elders and Deacons. All may attend, though only members may vote.

Souper Bowl of Caring Donations Start Today

Our Confirmation class is collecting donations of food items through January 27 for meal kits for foster kids and their families. The list of needed items is in the Welcome Center and at

Donation Drop-Off Begins TODAY!

Donation Drop-Off begins January 20: Sunday curbside drop-off 3–5pm for smaller sized items (no furniture at this time, please). Drive up to the clearly marked area on California Ave SW and our youth will offload your things. (NO drop-off on February 3.) On Tuesdays and Wednesdays you may also bring your donations to Howell Auditorium from 9am–5pm. Please no paint, drapes, tires, mattresses, hide-a-beds. Contact Karol before dropping off TV’s, computers, monitors, exercise equipment, or large appliances. Thank you in advance for contributing!

Garage Sale HELP Needed

Volunteers are needed to sort our donated treasures! Work hours are flexible: Join us beginning January 22, anytime Tuesday and Wednesday between 9am and 12pm.

Date Night Help Needed January 25

Help us care for younger children for a few hours (6–9pm) while their parents hear thoughts about marriage (this week from Pastor Laurie and her husband, David) and then go out (alone!) on a date. Contact Kim (; 206-935-4477).

Family Movie Night, January 26, 6pm

Join us for a Youth Mission Trip Fundraiser – donations will be accepted at the door and the team will have movie treats for sale. We will be showing the film, Wonder, a great movie for the entire family. Come and support West Side’s Youth and leaders that will be going to Pine Ridge, South Dakota in July to work with YouthWorks. Bring lawn chairs, blankets, pillows, friends and family!
