Announcements for Sunday, Jan. 27

Congregational Meeting Today

Session has called the meeting after worship to elect members of the Church Nominating Committee, the group responsible for identifying candidates to serve as Elders and Deacons. All may attend, though only members may vote.

Sermon Series: First Impressions
Seeing Jesus for the first time again…

People who met Jesus found him to be desirous of a personal relationship (no matter how terrible the person was), a healer of outcasts, and the revealed son of God. Their responses of gratitude, generosity and praise give us models of faith when we encounter Jesus.
Today, Jesus meets the woman at the well.

Next Sunday, February 3 – A Woman with Bleeding Meets Jesus; Mark 5:21–34

Special People and Friends of Lincoln Park

are celebrated with a meal at 2:00pm today followed by a presentation by Ron Rice of his most recent trip to Nigeria to distribute wheelchairs. As always, we thank our volunteers, without whom we could not offer food and fellowship.
