FLEMING Bible Study—meets every other Sunday from 6:30-8:30pm at the home of Tom and Marilyn Fleming. Fellowship and prayer are also at the heart of this group, along with a few special social events. Contact: Tom and Marilyn Fleming (206-276-9635)

SUNDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY – meets every other Sunday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the home of Martha and Jim Carlson. (Time may change due to the Evening Worship Service.) The group is currently studying the Books of the Bible, followed by prayer. Fellowship and snacks are important too! Contact: Martha Carlson at (206-335-9072)

WEST SIDE LIBRARY BOOK CLUB — this small group is a gathering of like-minded folks who love books gather on the first Sunday of each month from 7:00-8:30pm in the church library. Bring your favorite book(s) for discussion. Contact: Mark Koelling (206-225-0332)

ARMSTRONG/EVERETT GROUP—meets weekly on Wednesday from 6:30-8:00pm in the home of Christine Armstrong with Freda Everett as discussion leader. Composed of married couples and singles, the group focuses on Bible study and prayer, plus periodical gatherings for social events. MissionS Prayer MEETING—meets the first Wednesday of each month in Boppell Parlor from 7:00-8:15pm to pray for missionaries supported by West Side. Leader Don Wilson will give an update on the current status of each missionary group and include a printed prayer guide to use. Contact: Don Wilson (206-923-0648)

Wednesday Night Bible Study & PRAYERmeets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00pm to sing hymns, have a Bible study and discussion. This group prays for our missionaries, the needs of our church, people listed in the church bulletin and other concerns. Contact: Ron and Connie Burke (206-935-7584)


MONDAY NIGHT WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY—meets Monday s at 6:30pm in the home of Joanna Martin. Each gathering will end with a time of sharing and prayer. Contact: Joanna Martin (206-769-6024). Please leave a message with contact information.

CIRCLE LYDIA—meets the second Wednesday of each month from 9:30-11:30am in members’ homes or at church. Meetings may include a special guest speaker, time spent discussing topics of interest, or service projects. In December, the meeting is a very special and elegant Christmas brunch. CIRCLE MARY—meets on the second Wednesday morning of each month at the church from 10:00-11:30am. Every month is a different location so check with the church bulletin. Our meetings follow a reading from Our Daily Bread for conversation and discussion followed by prayer and brunch. We contribute and support the Women of Purpose micro-loan project and the Kenyan water program. Every year we travel to Maple Valley at Christmas and in May to the home of Helen Locatelli. THURSDAY MORNING WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY—meets weekly in Lewis Hall from 9:30-11:00am at the church. Karen Schroedel leads the study time which is followed by prayer and fellowship. Contact: Karen Schroedel (206-932-7878) and Lillian Ryckman (206-932-9305)

THURSDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY—meets every Thursday from 1:00-2:00pm at church. The meeting also includes fellowship and prayer. Contact: Janet Rice Schreiner (206-295-3238)

THURSDAY NIGHT WOMEN’S GROUP—meets every other Thursday from 7:30-9:00pm at the home of Sonia Ghayhem, where the goal is to take a break and focus on our faith. The group traditionally chooses a book to read and discuss. Through fellowship and sharing, they support, encourage and commit to pray for one another.  Contact: Sonia Ghayhem (206-802-4761)


 MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers) – Beginning Oct. 5 this group meets the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month October through May from 9:30am-11:00am at West Side. MOPS is for moms of young children to meet other moms while their kiddos are cared for by our loving volunteers called MOPPETS. Each meeting we listen to a speaker, followed by a time of discussion, enjoy refreshments and sometimes crafts. MOPS is a time to develop friendships, grow as a mother and know that you are not alone on this path of motherhood. FRIDAY NIGHT FAMILY STUDY — meets Fridays from 6:30-8:30 for dessert and Bible study at the home of Alan and Cathy Muller or Clint and Carla Gawthrop. All ages and stages of God’s family are welcome—newborns to seniors. After dessert, the kids retreat to the playroom while the adults have a time of discussion and prayer that explores God’s Word, how Jesus is transforming us in His grace, and how the Holy Spirit is at work in the world. KOINONIA Men’s Prayer BREAKFASTmeets every Tuesday at 6:30am (sharp) in Boppell Parlor for 45 minutes to read a passage of scripture followed by intercessory prayer and fellowship. Breakfast in the community follows. Contact: Sid Hoagland (206-321-8716)

Oasis Bible Study and Prayer Groupmeets every Saturday morning from 8:00-9:30am in Boppell Parlor. Sharing time begins with coffee and tasty treats, followed by Bible study or discussion on thought-provoking books by Christian authors, and concludes with prayer. Contact: Don Wilson (206-923-0648)

CAFFEINE ACTIVATED PARKINSON GROUP – Group of men with Parkinson’s disease that meets twice monthly. Contact: Stephen Bergenholtz (206-268-0613)

MEN’S NEW COMANDMENT MINISTRY– meets the first Saturday of each month for prayer, devotion and service to single women and widows in our church community. These are dedicated teams of men who have a desire to serve God and others. Each team has a person they are committed to help with projects around the home. Contact: Joe Schafer at (206-954-8001).
