Moms of Teens

Join us Wednesday evenings 7:00-8:30pm in Rap Hall
October through May

Join us for our first meeting of the year on October 2 at 7pm!

Why We Gather

Parenting kids into adults through middle school, puberty, and high school demands a whole new level of motherhood. Our kids are changing. We are changing. What worked before doesn't work anymore. The decisions they make have real consequences. It's painful to see them differentiate. We need others on this journey.

Connecting for support rooted in prayer and God's Word will help us be wise and grateful in the amazing work we're doing.

"When two of you get together on anything at all on earth and make a prayer of it, my Father in heaven goes into action. And when two or three of you are together because of me, you can be sure that I’ll be there." (Matthew 18:20, The Message)

2024-2025 School Year

New this year: We're changing our meeting to Wednesdays! No day is free from conflicts for a busy mom, but we're giving Wednesdays a try this fall.

Also new: We're scaling back to meet just twice a month. For the other 2 weeks:
  • One week we hope to attend the new Parent to Parent monthly meeting at WSHS once/month to support other parents of teens.
  • One week we hope to have a moms-night-out hangout!

No change: 7-8:30pm at West Side Presbyterian downstairs in Rap Hall (for the teen hangout vibe)

Still no change: Carla will bring her favorite Pepperidge Farm Milano cookies, so if you want something different, please bring it!
