Bridge Disability Ministries

Bridge Disability Ministries is focused on ending the isolation among adults with disabilities. In addition to financial support, two West Side Connect Groups have regularly supported Bridge Ministries by participating in their Bridging Hearts gift bag ministry with local group homes. Fourth of July and Christmas were holiday opportunities to provide gifts and treats for the Beverly Park and Lincoln Park adult family homes. A total of 15 adults were served by this ministry which is prompted by Bridge Ministries but carried out by our Connect Groups. The groups shopped for fun gifts and combined it with cards and a message of the love of Jesus for these residents. As things are opening up post-Covid, one of the Connect Groups was able to meet in person with the residents and provide a small party.
