Young Lives Making a Difference
One of the Young Lives moms, who was supported with rent grants from the Young Lives Care Fund (YLFC) and the WSPC Deacons, has just finished her education and will start a new job this fall teaching special education/integrated kindergarten. The best part is that her new job is at the school that she attended for K-3! Talk about coming full circle. Our contributions helped pay for rent so that she could focus on her education and children. Thank you to those who have supported the YLCF - we are making a difference!

Celebrating at Walk for Water 2023
Through your participation and fundraising, we raised over $82,000 at Walk for Water! This year, there were participants from 31 states and three countries. Teams gathered from Alaska to California to walk and celebrate together. Team KenyaOly(WA)ter hosted a walk and traditional Kenyan tea. Team Juneau Stepping Out walked to an Alaskan glacier. A member of Team Poulsbo/North Kitsap Rotary carried a full jerrican on his walk and was thankful that this is not his daily reality.
Thank you for believing that everyone deserves access to clean water and the hope and opportunity for a better future.
