The Summer Garage Sale for Marybeth and The Mashiah Foundation
We are beginning to collect items for our annual cul-du-sac sale that will take place this summer. If you would like to donate any items they would be much appreciated. The Mashiah Foundation is a Christian organization Marybeth Oyebade founded in 1999 in response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Nigeria. Matthew 25:34-46 is foundational in guiding the organization, whose mission is to promote holistic development by helping, liberating and building the capacity of people living with HIV and Aids, vulnerable children, widow, youth and other disadvantaged people and community to be wholly developed spiritually, economically and socially at sustainable levels. Over the years with collaboration and support from government, other organizations and the community, the foundation has developed numerous programs/services including a hospital, a youth ministry, home for orphans, entrepreneurial endeavor for women with AIDS and an educational academy school for the community and surrounding area.
